“VROOM”
Reddy is a Korean rapper and singer best known for his hit tracks such as Think (ft. Jay Park) or 119 Remix, but he is also recognized as a style icon. Since his debut in 2011, he has made appearances of hit shows such as Show Me the Money and Tribe of Hip Hop. Reddy’s unique and striking sense of style have many of his fans and fellow artists look to him as a source of inspiration when it comes to fashion in the world of hip hop.
Aside from music, Reddy has always been a fan of cars, particularly the BMW E30. Once his career as a musician began to take off, the E30 became one his first purchases. His own E30 can be seen suspended mid-air in his latest music video for his single “VROOM”. Reddy and the Peaches team collaborated on lifting this automobile for the backdrop of the video. (The engine had to be removed for safety purposes.)
After the release of his new single, Peaches and Reddy collaborated on “VROOM” merchandise that became available internationally for pre-order at the Peaches store for only 48 hours. The designs consisted of a mustard yellow graphic crewneck and a khaki green embroidered hoodie.
Cars and automobiles play a large role in hip hop industries all over the world, and we are always excited to be able to play a part in bringing the two even closer together. The Peaches team looks forward to more collaborations with artists such as Reddy and Hi-Lite Records to bring a unique sense of fashion to these communities.
